Floral chardon skirt

This is my first Chardon skirt and actually the first time I ever try a pattern from Deer and Doe but it won't be the last! I had seen it a lot on the web (hereherehere...) and I was looking forward to make my own version. I used a cotton fabric from India which I got from my mother-in-law long time ago and which had no project assigned, it has been a success! My measurements were in between two sizes and I did a mistake by taking the small one so I had to cheat a bit with the folds and the seam allowances but I am very happy with the result, I've worn it a lot this summer. The feeling of wearing self made clothes is great!
PS: dreaming about going to live there...
