Here is a simple idea to personalize a face towel with a crochet border and a bit of embroidery.

DIY Crochet Trolley Mobile
For each ball:
make a Magical Circle (I used a 3,5 mm Hook)
Row 1: knit 6 St and close with a slip stitch
Row 2: chain stitch, increase 1 at each St, close with a slip stitch = 12 St
Row 3: chain stitch, *Knit 1, Increase 1*, close with a slip stitch = 18 St
Row 4: chain stitch, *Knit 2, Increase 1*, close with a slip stitch = 24 St
Row 5: chain stitch, *Knit 3, Increase 1*, close with a slip stitch = 30 St
Row 6: chain stitch, *Knit all the row*, close with a slip stitch = 30 St
Row 7: chain stitch, *Knit all the row*, close with a slip stitch = 30 St
Row 8: chain stitch, *Knit all the row*, close with a slip stitch = 30 St
Row 9: chain stitch, *Knit 3, Knit 2 together*, close with a slip stitch = 24 St
Row 10: chain stitch, *Knit 2, Knit 2 together*, close with a slip stitch = 18 St
Row 11: chain stitch, *Knit 1, Knit 2 together*, close with a slip stitch = 12 St
At this point you should start to fill the ball
Row 12: chain stitch, *Knit 2 together*, close with a slip stitch = 6 St
Draw through the remaining stitches and pull tight.
Attach the thread to the cord.
You're done!
