Servilletas, el proyecto más simple / Napkins, a simple project

Una entrada breve para enseñaros un proyecto rapidísimo que he hecho esta semana, unas servilletas de cuadros. Para diario prefiero las servilletas de tela a las de papel.

A short post to show you a very fast project I've done this week, some napkins. For everyday use I prefer fabric napkins.

Kid shorts: Summer memories

Unos pantalones cortos que hice hace ya un tiempo y que han sido los shorts del verano...
Los blancos con puntitos son el patrón más sencillo de Kid Shorts de danamadeit, son facilísimos de hacer, de esos proyectos de los que puedes hacer 20. Los de la tela Vichy son una adaptación de unos shorts comprados que ya teníamos, quedan un poco más ajustados gracias a las pinzas y a su forma más redondita, llevan bolsillos y dobladillo en contraste. Perfectos para el verano!

Some shorts I made quite a while ago and have become the shorts of the summer...
The white and red ones are the simplest pattern of the Kid Shorts from danamadeit, they are so easy to do you can make 20 of them. The ones in Vichy fabric are an adaptation from a pair of shorts we had, they are a bit more fitting thanks to the darts and their more rounded shape, they have pockets and a contrasting hem. Perfect for the summer!

Floral chardon skirt

Esta es mi primera falda Chardon y de hecho el primer patrón de Deer and Doe que pruebo pero no será el último! La había visto mucho por la web (aquí, aquí, aquí...) y tenía muchas ganas de hacer mi propia versión. Utilicé una tela de algodón de la India que me dio hace tiempo mi suegra y a la que no le encontraba proyecto, ha sido un acierto! Mis medidas estaban entre dos tallas y me equivoqué cogiendo la más pequeña así que tuve que hacer un poco de trampas con los pliegues y los márgenes de costura pero me encanta como ha quedado, me la he puesto un montón este verano. La sensación de llevar ropa hecha por mí misma es genial!

PD: no paro de soñar con ir a vivir a ese lugar...

This is my first Chardon skirt and actually the first time I ever try a pattern from Deer and Doe but it won't be the last! I had seen it a lot on the web (here, here, here...) and I was looking forward to make my own version. I used a cotton fabric from India which I got from my mother-in-law long time ago and which had no project assigned, it has been a success! My measurements were in between two sizes and I did a mistake by taking the small one so I had to cheat a bit with the folds and the seam allowances but I am very happy with the result, I've worn it a lot this summer. The feeling of wearing self made clothes is great!

PS: dreaming about going to live there...

Summer blouse from man's shirt

Siempre que me pongo esta blusa recibo algún cumplido, y nada más fácil! Se trata de una antigua camisa de hombre (de mi abuelo ;)). Cuando algún hombre de la familia piensa en deshacerse de una camisa intento echarle un vistazo, tienen tanta tela que se pueden hacer muchas cosas. De esta me quedé con la parte abotonada y rehice todo lo demás en base a una camiseta de tirantes básica que me gusta como me queda. En la etiqueta pone que la tela está fabricada en Japón, son unos cuadritos finitos muy bonitos.

Every time I wear this blouse I get a compliment, and it is so simple! It is an old man's shirt (from my grand pa ;)). When a man of my family is thinking about coming away some shirt I try to give it a look, they have so much fabric that you can do many things. From this one I kept the buttoned part and remade the rest of it based on a basic tank top whose fit I like. The label says that the fabric is from Japan, it is very fine small squares.

My first blouse

Mi primera blusa! Se trata de la blusa 3C de un número de Burda easy que compré hace años y que ha ido resistiendo mudanzas. Es hasta ahora el proyecto de costura para el cual me he tenido que concentrar más pero también he aprendido un montón. La blusa no es perfecta pero estoy muy contenta del resultado.

La tela es de unas sábanas de ikea. Las compré de entrada pensando en hacer una falda o un vestido, el estampado me recuerda a los trajes regionales suizos o alemanes. Es un algodón un poco rígido pero creo que no ha quedado mal, me queda un montón así que aún tengo para hacer algún otro proyecto.

My first blouse! it is the blouse 3C from an old Burda magazine I bought years ago and which made it through several house movings. It is the project which has taken the most my concentration until now but I have also learned many things by doing it. It is not perfect but I am quite happy with the result.

The fabric is a duvet from ikea. I bought it having in mind to make a skirt or a dress out of it, I like the print which remembers the german or swiss regional costumes. It is a quite rigid cotton but I think it didn't come out bad, I have a lot of fabric left so I still will be able to make some more projects.

Baby leggings _ free pattern to download

It has been a while since I made these leggings for my baby and she still wears them a lot so I thought I share the pattern I made with you. The size is meant to be 6-12 months. The fabric being very elastic allows them to fit a long time. I used this colorful owl jersey and made a matching scarf/bib!

Ya hace unos meses que le hice estos leggings a mi bebé y sigue usándolos mucho así que he decidido compartir el patrón que hice. La talla corresponde a 6-12 meses, al ser un tejido elástico dan bastante de sí. Yo usé un jersey de búhos coloridos y le hice un pañuelo/babero a conjunto para la garganta!
